I have not made it, but I gave it 5 stars, anyway. I make a very similar chicken and corn chowder, so I can tell by looking at the ingredients list that this is going to be delicious. My version uses fire-roasted green chiles instead of the red bell pepper and I add the kernels from an ear of grilled corn, but otherwise it's pretty much the same. I use low sodium bouillon and no salt added cream style corn, so we can each add more salt to our own taste. I will definitely try this version, too! 11-22-22--Updated to add: I made this version, with Knorr reduced sodium bouillon. It was delicious! The red bell pepper adds a nice sweetness. This isn't much different than how I make it myself but had to refresh my memory. \nI added a few things: Heavy cream, Carrots, red pepper flakes, dried parsely, sage, thyme, pepper, garlic, onion and smoked paprika. \nI omitted bacon (didn't want to cook it at 10pm), chicken boullion (I used the \"broth\" from boiling the chicken breast) and evaporated milk. \nI added flour to thicken then added corn starch at the end because the flour never works for me lol. \nHmmm did I change the recipe too much? lol. I like a lot of herbs and how heavy cream works. \nEither way it was delicioius.", "reviewRating": "@context": "http:\/\/schema.org\/", "@type": "Rating", "ratingValue": 5, "worstRating": 1, "bestRating": 5 , "@context": "http:\/\/schema.org\/", "@type": "Review", "datePublished": "2022-12-20", "author": "@context": "http:\/\/schema.org\/", "@type": "Person", "name": "Theresa419" , "reviewBody": "I make this often.
